You may return an item that arrived damaged or if you received an item in error. All returns must be made within two weeks of receipt. No C.O.D. returns will be accepted. All packing slips include a “return” label and complete return instructions. Please note that we are unable to exchange items unless received damaged, defective, or incorrect. Even if your purchase meets the criteria of what is returnable, we reserve the right not to issue a return if the purchase was a special order or if our distribution channel will not allow us to return the purchase to them.
Please contact us immediately if an order was received damaged, defective or was incorrect. A full refund will be given if it was the error of KIMBooks. If error was that of the customer, a refund will be issued minus shipping costs.
We cannot issue refunds for the return of: • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery. • Any book that has obvious signs of use. • Any CD that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap). • Any item that is not in its original condition or is damaged. • Any copyrighted material that may be easily copied such as downloaded PDFs, software, and publications in three ring binders.
If you purchased a download in error please notify us immediately.
Orders are processed every two hours 24 hours a day. Processing takes place on even hours, such as eight o’clock, ten o’clock and so on. If an order is caught within the two hour processing window, a full refund will be given. KIMBooks, however, operates during normal business hours of 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Therefore, cancellations must be made and received between 9:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. eastern time. Once an item has been processed, the order cannot be canceled. If desired, once the item is received, it can be returned for a full refund minus shipping cost.
Cancellation for an item which is currently on backorder can be made within the first thirty days of the backorder, given the item has not yet been shipped. Once shipment takes place, please follow our refund and return policy. Cancellations of pre-publication orders more than thirty days before publication are subject to a 25% service fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations within thirty days of publication.
